Testing a deployed ULC application

Postby maxi » Sat Oct 16, 2010 8:07 am

Hi.

In my new work we use an application build in VAST 5.5.2 where the client side is an ULC-UI (the goody from ibm for vast).
Well, now we need to have a regression testing environment, so I downloaded WindowTester from google and installed into eclipse to try it. Everything
goes fine with the installation. Then I create a Swing Record Configuration (like is described in help), but when I try to record a test case a "record exception" is raised when click in any button or menu item.

Is there a way to test a deployed ulc-application with WindowTester?
Where can I find a tutorial or example?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have a sample ULC app that we could use to test it out at our end?

No, I don't have.
But you can download the goodie (Ultra Light Client <ULC>) from http://st.instantiations.com/resources/ ... historical , this
come with some simple samples that maybe you could use.

Thanks, any help that you can give me will be welcome.
