How can i detect error marker and error message in editor

hello,

In our product we are doing some validation for table cells and if validation fails we are displaying error marker as well as error message message in editor.. How can i check in windows tester whether error marker is there in editor or not...

Have you tried adding an assertion using the inspector tool? Was it able to detect the label of interest? Theses docs give you pointers for generating assertions at record-time:

No i can use those assertions with toolbar or tree item. but that assertion box itself is not coming when i click on that error marker on that page. Please Give me some workaround to make it done.

To help us understand what widget is behind the error message, could you inject this line of code into a test case before the point where you want to make assertions and send us the output sent to the console?
