Unsupported widget

Postby Pfeifer Peter » Thu May 07, 2009 1:50 am

Hello there.

I'm just trying Window Tester on a widget, i've written myself. The widget extends a composite and it behaves the way it's supposed to. But when recording a test case Window Tester always put a remark "//WARNING: unsupported widget selection ignored - Widget Selection event: null" into the code.

What do I have to do, in order to get my widget to work with Window Tester? Are there any how-tos?

Regards, Peter

The recorder is not particularly pluggable (as of yet). One trick would be to exploit naming:

As for runtime support for custom widgets, you might look at this:

http://downloads.instantiations.com/Win ... cator.html

In your case, I think naming might be your best bet.
