JobManager seems blocking ui test on Linux w. Eclipse 3.4

Postby eeybye » Fri Aug 29, 2008 12:24 am

Hello

When switching to Eclipse 3.4 on Linux, I experienced, when the JobManager was running background jobs, some getUI() calls got blocked.
In my case, it was ui.click(new MenuItemLocator(...));

I tried to insert a JobManager change listener and wait for it to become idle. And it worked... until the next job were scheduled. We have jobs automatically scheduled every 5 minutes or so.

The problem doesn't exist on windows.

Anyone experienced the same problem and are there some workarounds ?

The described issue only exist with the integration build.

When using the continuous build, the issue is gone - so I figure it will be solved with the next integration build or ??
