Run Java Application works but Record Java Application dsnt

Postby HankScrpio » Wed Nov 28, 2007 6:03 am

When I use Run => Java Application, my application starts and runs properly, however, when I try to Record => Java Application, it cannot find one of my classes (I get a java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException ... Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: myClassHere).

Has anyone seen this before?

I have tried modifying the project's Classpath, Build path, etc, but to no avail. Both the Recorder Classpath and the Project Classpath in the Recording Information dialog appear correct (they contain all the necessary jars), however, it still does not recognize my classes when using the Record mode.

The Eclipse Application tmp_workbench_launch_config also looks fine.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

In your Record launch configuration, you need to add your project to the Classpath tab. If you haven't done so already, try our examples.
