WindowTester and Swing

Postby scheja » Wed Jan 24, 2007 4:58 am

Hi.
In your FAQ, you state that you "don't currently have Swing or JGo support although we are researching support for a future release."

Is this in the queue for further releases or is it still a "research topic"? Can you give some details about your plans for supporting Swing?

Our issue is that we have to integrate some legacy swing application parts into our Eclipse RCP application and this integration of course has to be tested.

We are close to having the Swing version done and plan to release it in March.

Would you be interested in beta testing it?

Thanks a lot for your fast reply and your offer to have a took at the beta release.
Unfortunately we do not yet have any code or GUI to test, we just started a survey of test tools which might be helpful for us. But we will keep track of RCPDeveloper and surely request an evaluation copy when Swing will be supported.

Do you have Swing version implemented already?
