Any way to get tool bar items from View?

Postby MSoderberg » Wed Oct 25, 2006 11:47 am

We have some eclipse views that have tool items at the top. They do not appear to be uniquely identified. Clicking each toolitem results in ui.click("toolitem"); I simply want to verify the existence of the tool items, but each one appears to be the same Widget.

Any suggestions?

Could you send a feature request to support?

wintest-support@instantiations.com

In the end, we need to have a better story for ToolItems... In the meantime, we'll try and put together a work-around.

Thanks!

I am having a similar issue, in that I am unable to click a toolbar button. The recorder simple leaves "unable to locate" message, and the ButtonLocator fails to find the button. Is there a solution for this?

Thanks.

Thanks for pointing this out. We're currently working on a fix for this. If all goes well it will be in a beta early next week.
