Default values for insets of GridBagLayout

Postby atress » Mon Apr 03, 2006 6:55 am

We have to design about 200-300 dialogs, each consist of about 10 to 50 widgets which in large part are arranged in a GridBagLayout.

The way you implemented the GridBagLayout is really impressive and nive to handle,
but implementing the following feature would help us a lot and would save us a lot of development time:

Would it be possible to set default inset values the GridBagLayout in the Swing Designer Properties and using these values for each widget inserted into a GridBagLayout?

Best regards,

The latest v4.3.1 build now includes preferences (Designer > Swing > GridBagLayout) for setting the default GBL insets.
