Hi,
if i use a GridBagLayout i have problems to make changes to inherited fields (i didn't have the problem if i use an absolute layout).
I can not move the position of the field nor can i delete the field. All these things i have to do in sourcecode:(
I have written a small example project where you can see and reprodure the behaviour.
cheers,
michael

Support for "super.getComponent()" reorder, reparent and delete has been added to the product and will be available when Google relaunches the product.

Within the next few weeks once Google has finished rebranding and relicensing the products.
If you have a paid support contract, you can send a request for temporary access to the new Google support address that was sent to all paid support customers.
