Designer show Components even if thre is no one in source

Postby mkornatzki » Tue Nov 24, 2009 2:13 am

Hi,

if i create a new JPanel and put a JMenuBar on it then i get a WindowBuilder internal exception "java.lang.ClassCastException: com.instantiations.designer.core.model.nonvisual.NonVisualBeanContainerInfo cannot be cast to com.instantiations.designer.swing.model.component.ContainerInfo"

After clean up the source of the MenuBar i see the Component JMenuBar but it is only an image on the JPanel. I can not click it and i can not delete it (there is nothing of the MenuBar in the Source). I have to restart eclipse :(

Maybe you can make it possible that i can add a non visual JMenuBar and that i can configure it?

regards,
michael

Swing Designer only allows JMenuBars to be dropped on JFrames.

In the latest build, it will prevent dropping it as a non-visual object anywhere else.
