Opening a regular java file with the Designer

Postby fredatwork » Tue Oct 19, 2004 11:48 pm

Hello,

How can I have an existing Java file being opened by the Designer instead of the regular java editor. The java file was not created using the Designer.

I remember having seen something about this in the online documentation but I cannot remember where.

Thanks for your help.

You can open any Java file using Designer via the Open With > Designer Editor command. Likewise, you can open any Java file using the standard Java editor by using the Open With > Java Editor command. Eclipse then remembers the last editor that was used with a file.
