Hello,
I would like to know if there is way to update the Designer from inside Eclipse ? It not, it would be nice to be abel to do so.

No. We will probably add an Eclipse update site for the product at some point in the future. That mechanism is really only useful for major updates though, so new development stream builds (e.g., v2.1.1) would continue to require the current download and unzup process.
