Can I choose dont generate setText("New Button")?

Every time I create a new jbutton, the swing designer will generate button.setText("New Button") automatically. I am wondering if there is any option to avoid generating this setText?

There is no direct way to do this, but, if you turn on the Automatically activate direct edit for new components preference, you can hit the Delete or Backspace key as soon as you drop the widget and no text property will be set.
