Prompt for variable name?

Is there a way to have WB Pro prompt me for the variable name of the widget I am adding to my visual component?

VE had an option to prompt me for a name. That is, I would drag a JButton, for instance, to my canvas, release the mouse, and a dialog would appear asking me to name it.

Turn on the Designer > General > Property Pane > Show important properties dialog on widget adding preference.
