Install RCP Developer and Windowbuilder Pro together?

Postby Jedt3D » Tue Nov 28, 2006 10:23 am

Like the subject. I own both of them but I want to know how to install them together? All I can imagine is follow by the release date.

Or just install RCP Dev and it can activate to all features? (Swing, SWT, GWT, RCP Dev?)

Please suggest.

RCP Developer only includes the SWT Designer component of WindowBuilder but not Swing and GWT. You will need to activate both.

As far as the order of installation, I suggest installing RCP Developer first then WindowBuilder so that you'll have the latest Designer (assuming you are using the latest version).

In general, install in order of build date (oldest to newest). The latest WindowBuilder builder will usually be the newest, so it should be installed last.
