loading apps from script

Postby PhotonDemon » Mon Oct 04, 2010 6:25 am

Hi,

I expect there is a way to load apps from a script but don't know where to look. I would like to execute a script in a workspace that loads the latest version of an app without prompting for the version number. Not needing to put the version number in the script would be nice but is not a deal breaker. Thanks for any ideas.

Lou, you may find that Melissa in vastgoodies.com answers your needs. I've got a similar package, as yet unreleased (although you'll find an early version of it attached to a message in another thread), but it's only geared towards config maps. I'm doing build automation driven by the Hudson build server, and I do daily loads into a virgin image using the latest config maps for various clients and servers. I'm also triggering packaging of both headful and headless images.
