Old MS Word interface

Postby jtzecher » Thu Jul 22, 2010 3:58 pm

We have an old application in our repository called WordBasic. The main class in the application is a subclass of an OLE class and its purpose in life is to provide us with a Smalltalk interface to MS Word. I believe that this application is purchased software that we're using as an add-on as opposed to something we wrote in house. However, this would've happened well before my time here and there is no documentation and nobody remembers.

Does anybody have any ideas where "WordBasic" could come from? I'd like to know if there are any updates (what we have seems to be from around 1998) or, at the very least, some documentation. I've tried searching this forum and I've tried googling it but nothing relevant appeared.
