I've had the same experience with 7.5.2 under Ubuntu 10.04 and VirtualBox 3.20. I hadn't reported on it yet because I wanted to try other virtualization technologies first. Just to be clear, the guest VM is Ubuntu. The host operating system in my case is Windows XP.

Hello,

I think the documentation specifies Ubuntu 9.x. We already have a case open for 10.0.4, as the result of testing.

Well, at least VASmalltalk/Windows seems to run without problems under Ubuntu 10.04/Wine 1.2. But that's another nice example to have an open (or at least open to registered customers) problems database - just to get knowledge of that. I wanted to create a new Smalltalk oriented virtual appliance for VirtualBox - including VA 8.02 - and of course took the newest operating system version. Now I go back to 9.10 ...

Hello John ! I'll ask for an open problem database (again) in Stuttgart next week ! Two years ago in Frankfurt most of the users said, that they would like to have that, perhaps this year again most of the users would like to see that ...

Hello,

We discussed this issue in our weekly meeting today and this seems to be the nature of the beast, with the beast being open source software.

I tested on:

1. VMWare Workstation 7.1 (the latest) and Ubuntu 10.04 (the latest)
2. VirtualBox 3.1.8 and Ubuntu 10.04.
3. VirtualBox 3.1.8 and Fedora 12

. . . and pretty much got the same results. Over the long weekend, I upgraded to Fedora 13 (just released) and VirtualBox 3.2 (just released) and right mouse clicks work now.
