Selection in EwTableList

Hi,
I'm using VA Smalltalk 7.5.2 and I created a EwTable List in a window.
Say the table has only two rows, now if I click on the empty space after the last row the column of the last row appears selected. I have user CellSingleSelection on the table. I debugged the code and this behavior appears fine. But I have another EwTableList a bit of old code and I'm not able to replicate the scenario on that table, I'm really unclear of the reason why as to one is responding and the other is not.
Can anyone shed some light on this.

got the solution

The solution lis to set the itemHeight as nil, then the code in
EwLinearList>>exposeHitTestItemAtX: x y: y
is not hit cause we are not using FixedHeight for column and we would get desired solution.
