Hi all,
I have VA Smalltalk 6.0.2 (with Windows Builder 6.0.2).
Is it possible to compile my icx so that it can be successfully executed on 64 bit system (e.g. Windows 7)?
Maybe my icx 32 Bit can be modified to be executed on 64 bit system?
Sorry for my bad english
Best regards,
Francesco

Francesco,
VA Smalltalk 7 and later releases do not directly take advantage of 64-bit processing. However VA Smalltalk and its predecessor VisualAge do run just fine on 64-bit hardware — Intel or AMD x86, RS/6000, and Sun.
You can build icx which will run on 64-bit windows.

Solveig
