MAPI for MS Office 2007

We are currently using VisualAge Smalltalk 6.02 and using Mapi to interface with MS Outlook 2003. We want to upgrade to Outlook 2007, but nothing works after installing Office 2007. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. We do plan on updating to Visualage 8.0 but do not have the time to implement and test everything before we upgrade corporate wide to Office 2007.

If you do not have the time to implement and test everything, then you should not upgrade to Office 2007 - supporting a new Office suite version is always a major step. Or what else do you expect as an answer ... ??

On the other hand I found - when doing some Google search - lots of people seem to have this problems ... Looking at http://office.microsoft.com/de-de/outlook/HP011164781031.aspx MS suggests to execute fixmapi.exe, which seems to be located in "C:\winnt\system32 oder C:\windows\system32".

Just an idea - I do not use MS Office or Outlook or have this problem ...

When I said I didn't have time to implement and test everything, I was referring to the upgade to Visualage 8.0. I did try the fixmapi.exe
and it seems to work. I have much more testing to do to confirm that.
