I just had a nice hunt for a bug that's probably centuries old...
I had the need to remove a notebook page from a (sic!) Portable Notebook. It was in fact not the last page but one in the middle. The effect of removeSubpartNamed:ifAbsent: was that the page and all the pages behind it were removed, although the noteboob part still had all the remaining pages in its list of components.
After searching and trying a while i found that sending #rebuildMajorTabs to the notebook's primary part helps here. Only teh page I had removed was removed.
Shouldn't this call be part of the notebook's removeSubpartNamed:ifAbsent: method?
