I remember that this was asked somewhere - but I can not find the answer.

I wanted to try out again doing GUI development under Linux and Windows at the same time and I noticed, that I was not able to drop any widget onto an empty windows ?

What was the trick or does this simply not work under Linux ??

Marten -

From the readme (OK, it is the 6.0 readme  ):

On Unix, turn NumLock off when dropping parts
Be sure that your NumLock key is turned off if you are using the composition editor. The NumLock will prevent parts from being dropped on the Composition Editor.
