7.5.2: Transcript and hidden menu entry

Postby marten » Sat Sep 08, 2007 9:35 am

The Transcript menubar has 6 (!) menu entries:

File
Edit
Options
Tools

Help

The menu between "Tools" and "Help" is unnamed (title = nil) and has three unnamed (label =nil) menu entries.

Perhaps not quite a problem, but some methods are going not to
work any more: CwMenuBar>>createMenuBarFor:owner: fails, because
of this problem.

All goodies are not able to load any more ...

I have trouble with menu's like this, when a tool loaded named Codeexplorer. Than the menus are nil and the debugger comes with not understand .....

You can refresh the menus, but it is nerved, better you will unload this tool, if you actually loaded this.

In other case I don't know, where the problem is.

Marten -

It sounds like a bad-behaving application was unloaded and did not do the correct cleanup of the Transcript menu in its removing code. Do you know what used to be on the menubar -- that is, what menu item is now 'mostly missing'?

@Wembley:

Ok, was somehow my fault. I thought, that I tested it with a new image, but actually I did not ... therefore no error at all. Everything is ok.

@Ralf:

I tested Codeexplorer and all was ok ... even with the newest version !
