Thanks!

Here's a reasonable English Translation using Google's langauge tools.

Bable Fish can also give a decent translation.

I like the translated reference to the "communist manifesto". ;-)

Here the content of the Q+A session. In the room were about 40 to 50 persons from Europe. The text below is more (or less) just what I
remember - and it shows the idea of that question and the answer.

Lots of questions were asked

Q:Support for cdecl calling convestion under Windows
A:Has to be further investigated. Would this support
also needed for callbacks ?

Q:Any idea about future direction of the GUI framework
e.g. Flash or all the other new directions)
A:No specific plans

Q:Any plans for HPUX/Itanium or MacOS/X(Intel)
A:No plans

Q:Any official Citric support
A:No plans

Q:Any plans for new updated printed manuals
A:There are plans to update and recreate the whole
documentation of the product. This is due to the
fact, that some of the tools, that were used by
IBM are not available to Instantiations.

Q:Any support for Seaside ?
A:Instantiations are investigating how to support
Seaside in the future.

Q:When will VASmalltalk 8.0 be out ?
A:Actually planning is now done for release 7.5.2.
Perhaps there might be also 7.5.3 - but this is
not for sure.

Q:Support for Vista also contains special code for
each widget. Some widgets are enabled for Vista.
Is this also true for Widget/Kit
A:Answer unknown. Has to be further investigated

Q:Would it be possible to have a public bug list,
because it happens quite often, that someone
works in the same area and fails over the same
error and it's time consuming to browse the
forum for special errors and solutions.
A:John asked the other people, if there would be
a wish for something like that. Several persons
were raising their arms.

Q:It would be very nice to have the possibility to
load source code (easily) from VisualWorks and
Squeak into VASmalltalk.
A:Joseph talked to John about the possibility to
use Rosetta for a suitable solution just before
this Q+A hour.

Q:Would it be possible to create a store-like online
repository for VASmalltalk ?
A:No plans, but perhaps further investigated (has to
be seen with the question before: source code
exchange).

Q:This event is very nice, but would it be possible to
create this event *together* with Cincom and perhaps
even ESUG to form ONE Smalltalk event in Europe ?
Perhaps a Smalltalk solutions Europe ?

Some laugher when mentioning Cincom, but other persons
within the audience also likes that idea. It easier to
visit ONE event, than three events in a year.

A:One will see ...

Q:Is support planned for .NET
A:No. Asked other persons in the audience. No interest.
