Yes, I also read this press release yesterday. It was good to hear, that you get these both persons into your crew - perhaps even more interesting, than the actual product release
But the press release I mentioned yesterday represented the company as a whole. The press release was one of these press releases, which has to be published - because there was nothing else to publish (its good to begin the new year with a press release). The press release summaries what happened in 2006 and why is is the company growing. The press release was not released due to any special Java product or announcement. It was a review of a successful business year 2006 and it gave reasons for the success. And the reason for the success was - as I interpret the press release - not Smalltalk.
I also read the other press releases of your company. Press releases are targeted to the main market - I understand this and it is also pretty uninteresting how *I* interpret the press release.
General press releases can be seen as a mirror, how a company wants to be seen by the public and what it is important for the management and I remember some years ago a company, which produced similar press releases - but that company is gone forever.
But again - thats only my interpretation and perhaps nobody has read this press release yet. Or you can tell your marketing company, that a single person in Germany indeed has read this ...
