Internet Explorer problem: pictures/buttons are too big

Postby Gomez » Wed Mar 02, 2011 7:06 am

Hi. Im using the google web toolkit. Everyhings was fine. Today I tested my stuff on the Internet Explorer and I have to cry. Every picture and a lot of buttons are realy oversized. If I have a normal picture like 16x16, on the IE it is something like 40x40. On firefox, opera, chrome everyhing is fine.

I used the designer to create the pictures and buttons. Then I tought, the designer got a bug. So I coded my own button with a fixed size, but it wont help.

Any ideas for the problem with the IE?

Thank you

Edit
On some Computers with the IE8 the pictures are fine and on some other pcs with IE8 the pictures are oversized. I dont know why.

I tried just for fun the IE9 RC1. I hoped everything will be fine. But with the IE9 i even cant see my login window (the first page is a login page, only 2 textboxes and a button), very strange :/

Issues specific to various browsers are outside the scope of this forum (which is focused purely on GWT Designer itself).

I would recommend posting browser-related questions to our (Google's) GWT Forum.
