Hello.

I need to add a component into UiBinder that needs a parameter in the constructor. That means I have to provide a Factory function to instantiate this component in the view class of the binder.xml. No problem. But, when doing so, I get this error message when switching to the Desing view:

You are attempting to use @UiFactory for getStore, however GWT Designer was not able to create instance of requested object.

No more information why GWT Designer is not able to create the instance is provided. Is there any log somewhere, where GWT Designer might output any error messages?

Thanks,
Michael Vogt

Please provide a test case that will reproduce the problem you are having.

You can always check the Eclipse ".log" file for exceptions that might be relevant.
