GWT Designer was not able to find "gxt-.css" file.

Hello,

I have installed the latest GWTD (3.6 beta from Google) and I am trying to use it with gxt-2.2.0. I have configured the module for GXT and selected a directory with the gxt.jar and all of the resources. But when I attempt to use the designer, I always get this error:

GXT requires not just gxt.jar, but also set of resources, such as CSS files, images, etc. You should use "Configure for using GXT" action on your GWT module. GWT Designer was not able to find "gxt-.css" file.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Mark

BTW, I tried this with gxt-2.1.1 as well and got the same result.

No. We would need to see the actual project (w/o the gxt.jars which we have).

Hi Eric,

Here is a zip of the project. You will have to "Convert the project to use GXT" because I removed the extra resources to make it smaller.

Thanks

How did you create that project?

This project does not contain an HTML file with the same name as the module or referenced from the web.xml file.

When we try to configure for GXT, we don't know where to add the reference to the gwt-all.css file.

The latest GWT Designer 8.1 build will show a better error message for this situation...

I used a maven archetype.

I'm not sure what that has to do with this issue. We have lots of users who are using GWT Designer with Maven.

The project still needs to contain an HTML file with the same name as the module or referenced from the web.xml file.
