Postby psypaul » Tue Oct 12, 2010 6:32 am

Hi,

when I'm in design view and click on GXT components my Eclipse crashes and closes immediately.
Can someone please help?

I have attached my eclipse thread printouts.

Thank you
Paul

Hi,

me again.
In designer view, as soon as I select the 'ContentPanel' from GXT panels, eclipse immediately exists without an error message being displayed.

Today, this is showing up in my workspace log file:

Hi,

seems like my version of the JDK was causing the problem. (I had JDK 1.5 build 11)
I upgraded to JDK 1.6 build 13.
This fixed the problem.

Cheers

That was going to be my suggestion as well. GXT can be temperamental when used with an older JVM.
