The Eclipse Helios update site:
http://dl.google.com/eclipse/inst/d2gwt/latest/3.6 Is extremely slow; I almost gave up on the install at the "calculating dependencies" stage after 15 mins because I thought something had gone wrong. Just thought someone should know.

I also tried it and it was very quick.
We hav not had any similar reports from anyone else, so this is likely an isolated local issue.
I would try it again in a new, clean Eclipse environment.
