When will UiBinder be fully syupported?

Seems like I need GWT 2.1M4 to get full UiBinder support.
Looking for when GWT Designer will have full UiBinder support.

That depends on what you mean by "full support". Is there something specific that you are missing?

We are certainly working to have it completed in the near future.

By full support I mean being able to use the deign mode with @UiField annotations.

Would making a build from the current GWT trunk help in this case?
I really don't know what 2.1M4 is. Is it the current gwt trunk?

GWT Designer actually supports this now, but it requires UiBinder changes post 2.1M3.

Yes. That is how we are testing it. The next GWT update will include the needed changes.

For lack of a beter name, yes.

I would also recommend always using the latest GWT Designer build...

Hi,

I get:

You are attempting to use @UiField(provided=true), however it is not supported by GWT Designer

when trying to open GWT code generated by Spring ROO.

It would be nice if Spring ROO and GWT Designer worked together.. Actually, so much value is lost by them not working together..

Any plans to support @UiField(provided=true) ?

Thanks,

Calin

Yes. We do plan to support @UiField(provided=true).

Doing so is quite complex and requires some dev time changes (hooks) in GWT that we are working with the rest of the GWT team to add.
