cannot create project

Postby loachman » Thu Jun 10, 2010 4:01 am

I go through the project creation. GWT->Model->Gwt Java Project

and follow the onscreen dialogs

but when I click finish the dialog just stays there and the project has a red x beside it.

What am I doing wrong.

Please describe your environment - OS, version of Eclipse, GWT, GWT Designer (exact build id please), do you have Google plug-in for Eclipse?
Attach error log of your Eclipse, it is in ".metadata" folder of workspace.

Hi,

Windows Vista
Eclipse 3.5
GWT 2.0.3
GWT Designer 7.3.0 for eclipse 3.5

Yes I have the google eclipse plugin.

I could not find a metadata folder within the eclipse directory.

Thanks

Oh in the workspace folder. Not sure if this is the error log file because it is not named but it looks to be.

When reporting a problem, the very first thing you should do is update to the latest build and confirm that the problem still exists.

The build you are using is about three months old, and this issue was fixed quite some time ago.

Update to the latest v7.5 build, and it should be fine.
