GWT Designer allows you to quickly create the modules, composites, panels, remote services and other elements that comprise Google Web Tookit applications.

Hi,
I am trying to refactor (visuals) my smartGWT (2.2) project using GWT Desginer (7.5). The plan is to decompose it using composites to make it more manageable. When I try to open such a composite in the Designer, Eclipse just hangs showing a progress-bar (see the attached image).
What is usually causing this behavior?
Thanks

SmartGWT libs are quite big and it takes time to compile and load it, especially at first-time running.
How much time did you wait? Have you received some error message then?
Does the Designer work at all, without using SmartGWT?
Also, please provide threads dump (run eclipse from the console then when it hangs, hit the Ctrl+Break keys in console, or for non-Windows systems issue 'kill -3 <eclipse_pid>' command).
