bindAddress launch param unrecognized

Postby mike » Tue Apr 13, 2010 12:37 pm

I haven't been able to get the bindAddress param to be recognized in a GWT Application launch. I've tried setting Main>Parameters and Arguments>Program Arguments to -bindAddress 0.0.0.0 (individually) and Arguments>VM Arguments to -Dgwt.args="-bindAddress 0.0.0.0" (as well as variants) but the listener is always bound to localhost (ie, netstat -an|grep 8888 shows the listener is set to 127.0.0.1:8888 for all override attempts). Do you know how to get the pre-GWT2 bind behavior with the GWT Application launch config?

Give this a try using the latest GWT Designer v7.4 build.

Hi Eric,

Thanks very much for the quick attention on this! The override is now working (via -bindAddress 0.0.0.0 in Arguments/Program Arguments).

Thanks!
