Environment variables in launch config

Postby mike » Mon Nov 09, 2009 5:16 pm

Hi!

Is there a way to set environment variables in the GWT Designer's launch config as in the generic java etc launchers?

Thanks!

Use the "Arguments" tab just as you would for any other launch config (e.g., "-Dvar=value").

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your reply! I'm using a utility library that's relying on the environment rather than the system properties (System.getenv vs System.getProperty). Maybe I'm rusty at the distinction but I didn't think you could influence the getenv variable set with a -D setting (a quick check with groovy seems to confirm that for the simple use case).

Thanks!

We added an "Environment" tab to the GWT launch configs in the latest build (just as you would see for a normal Java launch config).
