RemoteService Wizard Problem

Postby colinzhao » Thu Jun 11, 2009 1:44 pm

I have upgraded to 1.6.4 with AppEngine and GWT 7.0. I need to develop a Google AppEngine application, so I have to create the new project structure with GWT Plug new wizard for the GWT plugin to recognize it for AppEngine deployment. Design seems to work fine with it, until I was creating a remote service with Design. The wizard creates only the Service interface and the server impl class, but not the Async interface.

Thanks for your help.

Ok. I resolved the problem by following a thread two days ago. Adding the gwt builder and nature entries into the .project. Also that the gwt builder entry has to appear before the java builder.

I missed these two entries because I created the project with Google plugin wizard. Can designer be enhanced to add the nature and builder in Eclipse? They do that with Spring and AspectJ plugins.

You need to use the Convert project into GWT project command described in the docs.
