Eclipse 3.4.1, GWT 1.5.3, GWT-Designer 7.0.0 build of 20090518
It seems that when adding new NLS key / value pairs via the "Externalize Strings" dialogue the contents of the affected property files are re-ordered. They aren't sorted just re-ordered. Since content is added typically in blocks by externalizing the strings in one file and then another one it would be desirable to maintain the order of strings unless they are sorted by key perhaps. I think that this was the behavior on earlier builds but I can't be sure.

I Agree. It's pretty annoying. And it's not that much work to sort it by keys. Probably even better to keep the same order as in AppConstants.java file. Any chance we can see a fix in the next build?

We will now sort GWT *.properties files by key.
