GWT Web Project lo longer available from the selection

Postby colinzhao » Fri Apr 24, 2009 5:15 pm

I noticed a number of changes since I updated my design a few weeks ago. One of them is the Pallete pane sometime displays two columns of widgets, but it is not consistant. Another one is the property pane with the FlexTable no longer displays the properties of colspan and rowspan.

Now the most important one to me is I don't have the new -> project -> Designer -> GWT -> Web project selection for me to create a new GWT Web Project. Just want to know if this is by design or something else. Before you suppport GWT 1.6 how do I set up a Web project with GWT?

I just updated Designer today with GWT 1.5.2.

Right-click on the palette and select Settings...

All of those properties are controlable through the design view. I have asked that the cell properties be added back to the property pane as well.

If you have GWT Designer 7.0 installed, look in the WindowBuilder > GWT Designer > Web category.

Eric:

Thanks for the answer to the multi column wdiget pane. How do I display the design view to control the property editing in the property pane? And I can see the WindowBuilder->GWT->Web category under the Window->Preferences. What should I do to make the Web project show up in the New Project Wizard?

I have the Designer 7.0.

Eric:

I resolved the web project problem by install the new version via the .exe download. I had the problem when I updated the designer via Eclipse update.

I still need to know who to enable the colspan and rowspan property editing.

At the moment, you can only edit those in the design view...
