How do I update GWT Designer?

The installed version is 6.9.0 (including a purchased license), I did an installation over the web using this update site: http://update.instantiations.com/wbpro/E-3.4

How do I update to the most recent version (currently 7.0)? Do I have to deinstall the previous version first and run the installation again? Or is there any kind of update mechanism?

You can have v6.9.x and v7.0 both installed at the same time, if you wish. We plan to maintain the v6.9.x code base for quite awhile in parallel with v7.x.

Looks like Eclipse wants you to update the v6.9.0 to v6.9.1 first as v6.9.1 and v7.0.0 will use the same versions of those referenced plugins.

You can also always try witha clean Eclipse installation.

I CAN do a clean installation or I HAVE to? With a clean installation I would have to setup my entire workspace again.
