LocaleInfoImpl_.java not in the Eclipse SRC folder

Postby pepem_sk » Sun Feb 15, 2009 1:56 pm

Hello,

I am using the 'externalization' of strings in my application (eclipse 3.4.0, gwt designer 5.1.0, gwt 1.5.3).

There are two files automatically created:
com.google.gwt.i8n.client.impl.LocaleInfoImpl_.java
and
my_package.AppConstants_.java

These files are not placed in the eclipse's 'src' folder, their packages start directly in the root of the eclipse project instead.

The project looks like:
bin
com (contains generated google/gwt/i8n/client/impl/LocaleInfoImpl_.java & my_package/AppConstants_.java)
src (contains my source code)

instead of:
bin
src

Are those files generated by GWT Designer ?
Can you please give me advice how to move them to the 'src' folder ?

Thank you,

Peter

This problem was fixed some time ago, so make sure that you are using the latest GWT Designer release.

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately updating the designer did help only partially.

1. I updated to Designer 6.9

2. I created the project using
a) GWT projectCreator and applicatioCreator scripts
b) Eclipse, GWT project wizard

3. I externalized some strings in the newly created application

4. In both cases:
- the my_package.AppConstants_.java file stopped appearing (OK)
- the LocaleInfoImpl_.java packages still start in the root of the project instead of the SRC folder (STILL A PROBLEM, SEE THE ATTACHMENT)

I did not find any info about this in the forums, nor on the internet.

We could not reproduce this, so we will need you to send us a test case (a project where this happens).

Sounds like v6.9 didn't completely install and you may have still been running old code.
