Again FreeBSD 7.1 Beta2 Test (SOLVED)

I have downloaded and built GWT from source on freebsd 7.1, I have added linux_base fc6 ( fedora core based emulation )
and linux's jdk is also working perfectly on freebsd, still could not get GWT designer worked successfully..
It can open/create project but cannot switch to design view...

Do you have any plan to support GWT designer on FreeBSD or could I help you to support it?

All it needs to be compiled against the libraries available on FreeBSD firefox, gecko engine...


Yes I can understand you, coz freebsd's market is so small, but maybe worth to deploy on *BSD systems too...


I will keep on trying tomorrow with linux emulation support.. But any other help is appreciated...

We can send you the source code of our native libs needed by the designer. It based on Google code but tweaked a little.
Note, that you'll still need the linux emulation while trying to run the designed GWT application in hosted mode, because GWT itself doesn't support hosted mode for FreeBSD. Please contact me by e-mail (see profile).

I did not get Makefile diff. I only changed Makefile ( not other files ) . you can get diff to obtain patch...

PS: I am excited to test designer on FBSD
