2-way inserting code in wrong method

Postby mwarne » Fri Sep 19, 2008 3:39 pm

Hi,
I'm new to the GWT-Designer, I am using Eclipse 3.4 and gwt-1.5.1 on WinXP.

I am having difficulties. When I try to move widgets using the visual designer, the code modification is being put into another method in the code, not the Constructor. (This is sub-class based on the DialogBox class).

So I need to constantly copy and paste the code into the correct locations to remove the compile errors.

Any thoughts?

P.S. I have moved some of the widget declarations out of the constructor code (local variables), and into the main class scope, so that other methods can access them. Is this confusing the designer?

Thanks,
Mike.

Please send us a test case and describe in detail exactly what it is doing.

If we can reproduce the issue, we can probably solve the problem quicly.
