black module in GWT Designer

Postby chematx » Fri Aug 29, 2008 12:04 pm

When I do a new module GWT, the GWT designer show a black rectangle. I can add button and others components but They appear in black color.

Howewer, When I run the module in browser it's work fine.

Anybody knows why in the gwt designer appear the black background and all components inserts too?

I've never seen anything like that.

Can you provide more info about your configuration? Eclipse version? OS? GWT Designer build?

I would suggest trying this in a clean Eclipse 3.4 environment with a fresh workspace and the latest GWT Designer build.

Anything in your Eclipse ".log" file?

GWT under Linux is very sensitive to the version of Firefox/Xulrunner you are using.

You are using an old verison of Ubuntu, so I guess you need the older version of Firefox.

Ubuntu 8.04, for example, works fine with Firefox 3/xulrunner 1.9.
