We are working on 1.5 support and hope to have it ready once GWT 1.5 is finally released.

Will the update to support GWT 1.5 be free? Trying to decide whether or not to buy the current version or to just wait.

Thanks, Dennis

Never mind - just reviewed the site, looks like one purchases a subscription, which would include updates.

Yes. All updates - major and minor - are free during your subscription/support period.

When GWT 1.5 is officially supported for GWTDesigner, any chance that the setting for which GWT to use can be made project specific?

In my case, I will need GWT 1.4 for one project and GWT 1.5 for another project and being able to specify this at the project level would be a great help.

Yes. That is part of our plan, and, in fact, that capability is actually present in our latest GWT Designer build.

If your .classpath has an entry like this (an absolute path that ends with gwt-user.jar)...

<classpathentry kind="lib" path="C:/gwt-windows-1.4.61/gwt-user.jar"/>

...then this absolute path will be used as a project-specific GWT_HOME.

Is there a date in mind for release of the 1.5 support?

When it is ready...which will hopefully be on or before the date that 1.5 is actually released.

The API changes relative to 1.4 are significant so this is a non-trivial exercise.

Eric, thanks again. This is exactly what I needed.
