When designing a window pop up all the time

Hi,

I'm new to gwt designer, and I find annoying when you put or change widgets a window pops up every time.
I'm using linux. Can I disable this behaviour ?

What version of Linux are you using? This is caused by a bug is certain Linux distributions.

Have you reviewed the Designer FAQ on that topic?

My linux is Centos 5, I'm using gnome (metacity).
Tried to compile metacity without success .

Based on the problem you described, I suspected that you were using Metacity.

Unfortunately, until they fix the bug in some future distribution, you need to patch it yourself.

Just another reason why supporting Linux is a PITA...
