Feature request: keep i18n in sync!

Hi,

this is a feature I really would appreciate. Doing i18n is a pain, and keeping the property files and the gwt interfaces in sync hurts.
There are plugins to keep properties in sync, but the gwt way is a little different.

What do you mean by "keep i18n in sync"?

It might help if you described the actual problem you are having.

First a little background, sorry if it is known, just want to make sure we are talking about the same.

In GWT I have to provide a Interface (either extending Messages or Constants from the GWT API) and have all text property files implementing those. Well, implementing not in the Java sense: the property files must have all items as stated in the interface. The GWT compiler will check the contents.

When I add something to one of the i18n interfaces - which in generally is my approach - I would like a popup to appear and ask me for the i18n entries. When I refactor such interface, I also would like to have a dialog asking me for the changes in the property files.

Sounds reasonable. We do plan to add some 118n related refactoring and synchronization support in the future.
