Difference between SWT designer and GWT designer

I would like to know the difference between GWT designer and SWT designer in developping web applicaitons and also specially Ajax bases applications.

and secondly what are the tools needed for that.

I would like to know the difference between GWT designer and SWT designer in developping web applicaitons and also specially Ajax bases applications.

SWT Designer is for building SWT/JFace/RCP apps and Eclipse plugins. These are typically fat/think/rich client apps although you can web enable them using the Eclipse RAP project librraies.

GWT Designer is building GWT/AJAX/Web applications.
