With the release of 2.0 I'm having no problem using it with KDE, my preferred environment. Previously, features like css editor were not working, but they are now.

Running Kubuntu 7.04 on AMD64 hotwired with 32 bit libs and 32 bit eclipse 3.3.

Not sure what you guys did, but this is nice. Thank you.

Were you using the same version of Linux with the prior version of GWT Designer?
