In the "Design" tab, I cannot copy or cut, and then subsequently paste widgets to another place in the layout. I can cut a widget or panel but once I do so, it won't paste anywhere, not even back to where I cut it from. If I switch over to the "Source" tab, and try to cut and paste the code, the "Copy" and "Paste" menu options are grayed out. I can edit (change) the source, and even highlight it. But I can't cut, copy, or paste it, since the menu items are not active.
Moving by click-dragging in the property editor object tree doesn't work either. You click on the widget, try to move it up or down the tree, but it doesn't do the move when you release the mouse button.
The only way to move a panel or widget is to delete it, and then re-add it manually. In other words, once a widget or panel is in a place in the tree, I can't move it.
Am I missing something here? Seems like this should be basic functionality. I'm using eclipse 3.2.2 under Linux (Fedora Core 6). GTK2 2.10.4-5.
GWT Designer version was installed from the v2.0.0 bin file today.
Thanks,
Rich
